Maintaining healthy teeth requires sticking to good oral hygiene and taking care of your oral health. With these simple steps, you can keep your teeth healthy and strong for a lifetime.

Here are some tips that will help you maintain healthy and strong teeth:

  1. Brushing technique
    Random or improper brushing will not protect your teeth. The right brushing technique can greatly impact your oral hygiene. Don’t rush – brush for at least 2 minutes twice per day.
    • Hold the toothbrush at a slight angle
    • Cover all tooth surfaces while brushing
    • Brush in gentle, slow circles
  1. Flossing
    Flossing is very important in your oral hygiene routine, as it removes food particles and plaque buildup while it’s still soft. Make sure to floss at least once a day.
  2. Using mouthwash
    Rinsing with an antimicrobial mouthwash will help fight the bacterias that cause tooth decay as well as provide extra protection for your mouth.
  3. Using fluoride toothpaste
    Fluoride strengthens your teeth against dental decay and plaque buildup. The best way to utilize fluoride on a daily basis is to use fluoride-based toothpaste.
  4. Improving your eating habits
    Unhealthy food and drinks can cause teeth cavities and other dental problems. Reducing tobacco and alcohol will reduce decay and gum diseases.
